How do I cite a source in MLA style?

Answer

You can find information on MLA citation style on our Citation Help page. You can also find links to citations in MLA format within most of our databases. Generally there is a link that says "Cite" or a link that looks like quotation marks.

You can also go to WorldCat and type in a physical resource title. Once you find the resource, you can get the citation via the quotation mark icon.

If you have a more complicated citation need, feel free to leave us a question or contact the reference desk via email.
